August 7 2016

Blair CrumpSage has appointed Blair Crump as President. Crump will report to CEO Stephen Kelly and take responsibility for sales and customer service. He will continue Sage’s focus on new customer acquisition and quality growth, with improved customer experience for the existing three million businesses (Sage number) using its software.

This presumably is in line with Sage's new investments in sales and marketing, The company at Sage Summit 2016 acknowledged  that cross-sells and upsells had been lax in recent years; partners also griped that company plans for its partner programs were unnecessarily complex. So Crump has two hard charters ahead of him.

Crump joins Sage from PROS Holdings, a publicly traded CPQ, pricing, and revenue optimization softtware firm where he held the position of COO since November 2014.
